
Play4Life ad campaign features top international football talent Frank Lampard and Thierry Henry

Richard Evans, President of PepsiCo UK and Ireland, comments:

Using these role models we are able to speak directly to parents and kids about the importance of exercise and play, as part of a healthy lifestyle.”
Thierry Henry comments:
"As a professional footballer, I know the importance of taking exercise when you’re young. It's so easy these days to sit at home and watch TV or play computer games but I really want to encourage kids to get outside and enjoy taking exercise. Play is what kids do best. Running around, having fun with their mates, playing sports like football and burning off energy is a great way to keep fit.”
Frank Lampard comments:
“You are never too young to get active and have fun. Once you have found what it is you love doing, the passion can stay with you for life. It’s about getting out there and discovering a sport or an activity you love and in doing so staying fit and healthy.”
The campaign will run nationally from 5 October – December 2009 in T-side, poster, digital and print formats.

- Play4Life is a sub-brand of Change4Life, which is a three year campaign from the Department of Health to tackle the issue of obesity by aiming to change the lifestyles of English families.
