Sky launched its campaign, Skyride, with British Cycling in June to get one million more people cycling regularly by 2013.
Throughout the summer they held Skyride City Events to get people back on the saddle and created hundreds of weekly Skyride Local guided rides to keep people on their bikes.

Over 110,000 got on their bikes....with over 65,000 cyclists joining Boris Johnson and stars from the world of cycling and television for The Mayor of London's Skyride on 20th September.
On air the campaign was supported by a 30 second Skyride / Bike4Life promotion along with a documentary - My Big Fat Cycle Challenge commissioned by Sky Real Lives - where 4 overweight women were put through a rigorous training programme by British Cycling experts to challenge their attitudes to healthy eating and exercise.
